GEORGE WHALIN

Died: January 10, 2012
George Whalin spent 25 years as a retailer and 24 years as a retail consultant.
He devoted his entire adult life to an industry he loved.
On January 10, 2012, the retail industry lost one of its own.
George had been battling cancer since 2009
and died from complications following chemotherapy.
Thousands of retailers benefited from his expertise and
willingness
to share his knowledge and ideas.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Terri Pilot, who also was his business partner;
brothers, John and Norman Whalin; and godchildren, Sam and Kayley Wascom.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Gina Marie Whalin.
